Data Deletion Instructions

Requesting deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, email shane@gofinalfinish.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
Include:

• Full name
   
• Email address(es) used with Final Finish
   
• Phone number (if provided to us)
   
• Any order/estimate IDs (if available)
   
• A brief statement: “I request deletion of my personal data.”
   

Identity verification
Final Finish may request additional information to verify identity and protect against unauthorized or fraudulent requests.

What will be deleted
Upon verification, Final Finish will delete or de-identify the personal data associated with your account and interactions, including contact details, messages, and order/estimate records held by us, unless an exception applies (see below).

Timeframe
Final Finish will complete eligible deletions within 30 days of verifying your request and will send a confirmation email when complete.

Exceptions
Final Finish may retain limited information where required or permitted by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, to honor opt-out preferences, to comply with tax/financial recordkeeping, or to resolve disputes. Backup retention may persist for a limited period and is removed on a rolling basis per backup lifecycle.

Third parties
If your data was shared with service providers acting on Final Finish’s behalf (e.g., communications, payments), Final Finish will forward applicable deletion requests to those providers where contractually required.
